The food was super good with really big portions. For the big food the price was pretty cheap. The couple who treated us were very nice.
I know that the rating system is supposed to run along the lines of 3-stars being good,4-stars being very good, and 5-stars being phenomenal. I haven’t reviewed too many places in Japan due to my reluctance to skew ratings in an American way. But this place… is phenomenal. It’s in the middle of nowhere and just off the side of a busy road. The katsudon is amazing and the karaage is super delicious. I would highly recommend getting both. Especially the katsudon. If you can make your way here, do it. You won’t regret it.
Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
